Safelinking.Net provides users with a service that will limit access to one or several links with a CAPTCHA, a password, or links containers technology (jDownloader and others) depending on user’s needs.

The need for such access restriction lies in the growing inconvenience caused by automated robots that crawl the worldwide web and may index people’s links to inappropriate listings. In addition, our service confers more privacy to users who wish to share confidential links in messages through social networks or in e-mail communications.

Basicly it puts a Captcha code and a cloak link for all file links. And by doing that it protects the uploader’s files from being deleted by crawler robots.

So it’s a good thing for both uploader and downloader.

How Can I Download A SafeLinked File ?

It’s no different than downloading any file. Just click to the file link, after the new page opens there can be either a captcha code or some images of items. Captcha code is a code that only humans can read and write it to the space given, it’s required to make sure that you are a human, not a robot or a program. The other capctcha with the images is called  the fancy captcha. It’s rather easier than the code because sometimes the code can be hard to read. But fancy captcha is really simple. You just drag the written item to the circle and confirm it.

It sounds like a lot of work but it’s really not. And if you’re using a download manager like jdownloader, you don’t even have to do that. You just copy the link and jdownloader will put it on the list for you.
